I dedicated this to all those who suffer from an awful car commute. Commute habits are tough to change, but consider bicycling or mixed mode by combining with a bus ride.

For me bicycling is part of daily life now: getting exercise, seeing the neighborhood slowly, getting the best parking spot, and saving time (avoiding car congestion) and saving money.

In order for bicycling to work for you, check out the gear list below, and remember to dress in layers, bring a water shell, wear a thin hat, and gloves to stay warm.
